BEAVERTON, Michigan – Brown Machine Group will introduce a new HTP-1T Case Packing System at NPE2018 The Plastics Show in Orlando May 7, 2018. (NAS) Nalle Automation Systems (NAS), is Brown Machine Group’s automation division responsible for the new release.
The new HTP-1T Case Packing System is designed to erect cartons and pack product sequentially within the same machine – saving valuable floor space. The initial offering is targeted for the cup and lid industry, but the company has plans to develop for other markets.
The HTP-1T will handle a wide range of products produced from either plastic or paper and offers modern ingenuity in a compact footprint. “We have specialized in wrapping, counting and product handling for decades, in recent years we have seen a large demand for case erecting and case packing from our customers. Taking into account our customer requirements and suggestions, we have designed our system with floor space in mind,” stated Tom Nalle, VP of Sales. “We know available floor space is at a premium for our customers and understand labor constraints, our machines are designed with user friendly controls and require minimal training.”
The case packer features an easily loaded high capacity magazine for extended run time between reloading. The erecting function is very robust, with the erecting device holding two opposing panels of the case while pivoting at the corner forming a 90-degree angle. This allows cases to be erected in a square and stable fashion. Further, this method reduces poorly erected cases when using less than optimal corrugated board.
Bryan Redman, Chief Executive Office at Brown Machine Group commented, “This new addition to the NAS product line further positions our turn-key offerings in the market place, our customers are able to take advantage of a single source of responsibility to ensure their success.” Available in top and/or side load, the HTP-1T Case Packer synchronizes perfectly with new or existing end-of-line packaging systems.
